Irish Social Finance Centre, Dublin 8
The Irish Social Finance Centre located in Inchicore, Dublin 8 contains the head office of Clann Credo. Clann Credo provides community loan finance services to local community groups nationwide. The refurbishment of the building which was formerly the Leinster & Munster Bank Building, included new reception area, offices, meeting rooms and the reinstatement of the banking hall which is original to the building. The building was built in the 1940’s and is a protected structure.
Richard Dixon Associates were responsible for providing the complete mechanical and electrical design consultancy services for the upgrade and refurbishment works to the building. The design included for the upgrade of the mechanical system with energy efficient condensing boiler plant and integrated controls. Richard Dixon Associated provided the design services including tendering and cost control.
The project was part funded under the SEAI BEW (Better Energy Workplace) Scheme. Richard Dixon Associates were responsible for providing the application, suitability report and final post construction application & report for the SEAI BEW Scheme.
